I really dont know what to tell you.

Children born at a very young age, some times are very pale, light and blue eyed, but as they grow- they change eye color, hair and skin tone as they're exposed to the world. Eye color though has a bit more variance. Eye color is something you cant change unlike your hair and skin tone. Unless you put in contacts- then the color would change but temporarily. But, eye colors have so much varience. Each persons eye color has a slight varience some are hybrids in mixing afew colors in one eye or a varience in one eye versus the other in having two diffrent colored eyes.

as in Aniridia, there is no color in the eye, the people have essentially one large pupil and close to no iris. Heterochromia is the two diffrent kinds of irises. It can happen in several forms in having two compleatly seperate colors or in sectors. It can be in blocks or in stripes such as the one above. Those shifts in color is interesing because they usually have similar colors and are unnoticable untill you really look.
Also, in Albinism, those people end up having red eyes and have issues with their vision, but the color is very intense, and has no black pupil. Most commonly the eye is pink and red.

Shades of Grey or to the likeing.

black and white photography is the use of light, playing with lights and darks of a form and using them to your advantage to get a great exposure. In making prints you take the negatives- and use the light to either make those shadows and bright spots subdued or stronger making a more dynamic picture. despite the connotations that grey has, photography takes it and turns it around. Obviously with the issues that it can be done badly and the photo would fit into the traditional blah, black and white photo. But with the right lighting and combinations of shadows, an image can be brought out.
Even with color photography, the general idea still applies, lights and darks but now you also work with hues and tones to bring another level of image. Its really the lights and darks that change and modify the photograph and adjust the feel of it. with black and white, it leaves more to the imagination and allows for more expansion of the image.

Project on our own

Questionair:
1 Why did you choose this particular project?
This proposed project was much more involved with other people and incorporated a diffrent element incomparison to the painting on illustration board.
2 How did you pay for the materials needed for this project?
We sent off Sharon to go get paints- and we each paid an equal portion.
3 How did you arrive at its costs?
By Division and math? Hah, We figured out what we needed- mainly it was paints so thats where all of our costs went to.
4 How did you decide what to do to each other?
We looked at each person and saw what sort of thing we could work with on their body. Such as chris, we looked at his back and could see lots of major workings such as bones and major muscles. On bart, well.. its bart, we did what we wanted to. With me and Sharon we decided on stripes, and that was that.
5 What is the significance of this project to your major?
Color is important ingeneral to Fine Arts- I plan to do a bit of everything so all of the color theory and figureing how color will mix on diffrent surfaces and also
working with what you have is something thats apart of Fine arts.

This was really fun to do, we normaly dont get to work together on projects in most classes, so to collaberate on something was amusing. Especially since every one was open to be painted and to the idea.

Refrences of blue?

Lots of groups and objects take on titles of blue. Bands such as The BLUE man group and the song by Eifel 65, Im Blue Each thing has a relationship to the color and themes. The blue man group paints them selves up in blue paint and use low deep "blue notes" in their drumming and its a very smooth preformance. Eifel 65'song, is very repetiative and has midtoned rhythms. Both have very blue feelings as their titles say, more smooth and rythmic not sad or depressed for that matter. As they discribe blue, its more of an energized and smooth sound.

A whole genra is named after the color blue- the blues. The blues is filled with deep, rich tones and lower notes off the minor scale, which in turn turns it into the blues minor scale.

There is also a movie called Bleu (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108394/) and it ecompases a general feeling of blue, depression sadness and the poster cover for the movie is blue as well.

Several things take on the title of blue and usually when used, they discribe what they are and are normally fitting to what they are.

And how do you feel about this?

While working on the hues and tints in yellow, i felt a major mood shift. It was dark, dismal, late and i was still doing homework- but as i was painting the Final rows of analogous colors my feelings shifted to a better lighter mood and enjoying doing the homework. Most times if you're surrounded by a certain color or working with it- your mood shifts and your work changes as well.
I've read several articles that talk about the chemical changes that happens in your brain due to different out side stimuli. One of which was mainly color- Depending in what color room your in, it would affect the way you interact and work. Blues are normally calming, Yellows are vibrant and energizing, reds are passionate and the colors follow the typical feelings.
Theres also the ideas of the way you are and the way you feel towards the world. If you like certain colors your outlook follows that guide line. Such as Blue, optimistic and layed back usually follow that characteristics.

Color Ey?

In the past ive done various color wheels, with pencils, markers, crayons and found objects- But really this is the first time ive done it with paint. The results were actually quite interesting. The Purple didnt come out quite purple but a rougeish-blue color not your typical purple. Also, my color wheel was quite divided in half by a dark and light side.
When ive done color wheels with pencils, you have the premade colors done by that manufacturer and you dont have to worry about, you know what color you're going to get. Paint is unpredictable. Because its so maluable you need to have a steady hand and a good eye for mixing. I also noticed that between colored pencils and paints, each company and each lot of colors has a slight variant. It depends on the what chemicals and the mixes that they do in that lot. In comparison to colored pencils, most brands their colors stay the same through time and productions. There isn't too much that varies between them. But the only issue is theres less color customization with colored pencils than with paint. Theres hundreds of color hues you can get with paint than with the pencils. You have a harder time mixing the waxy base versus a liquid base.

New year, New Color!

Color, color everywhere! Today, we were on a quest of color. We searched for diffrent implications of color, by how and why it was used and also by compairson.

Contradictions of color? I think so. As depicted by "Love puppy", Love and red go hand in hand. It stands for the beating of a heart for some one, the love one has for an adorable puppy, and the love for good food/drink. But, the "Jersey Devil" (Vicky happens to be from jersey, and happens to be wearing a devil suit. haha.) Depicts red as a dark evil color, connection to satan and obviously no love for puppies.

The Pictures them selves stand strong, "Love puppy" Has the feeling of love- a lighter color scheme. Red white and and a large heart give the feeling of light lovely feelings, not to mention the puppy just makes it all the more cuter. "Jersey Devil" Red and Black combine to give the darker feel and over all idea of evil or bad(ass-ness).

Color can easily contradict its self, by its several meanings and uses through out daily life and marketing too.
